I began my journey at PSR in the fall of 2024, enrolling in the Master of Divinity program. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, I moved to San Francisco before arriving in Oakland. Currently, I serve as a Deacon and property manager at the City of Refuge United Church of Christ. After a profound encounter with the Divine, I recognized that attending PSR was a calling I needed to answer. What I enjoy most about my academic experience at PSR is the amazing professors and staff who consistently demonstrate excellence in their support for students. The learning environment at PSR is unparalleled, making it the best place for us to be right now. I am also involved in the Community Life Council because I believe in the importance of “lifting while we climb,” a motto of the National Association of Colored Women (NACW), founded in 1896.
