Rev. Angela Brown, JD, joins PSR’s Community Life staff as Associate for Student Formation and UMC Student Coordinator. A PSR alum (MDiv ’14), Angela was ordained a Deacon in the California-Nevada Annual Conference in 2016 and has served the school as Trustee, Secretary, and Vice Chair of the Board. She currently chairs the Order of Deacons in her conference and was elected to the UMC Judicial Council in 2024.
Angela brings a rich background as a retired U.S. Naval Reserve Commander, former Assistant District Attorney in San Francisco, and ministry leader at Glide Memorial UMC and the Bay District of the California-Nevada Annual Conference. In her new role, she will accompany students in their formation, nurture community, and support UMC students in their vocational journeys.
