Join us at 9:00am Pacific on Thursday, November 4th for the first installment of the Badè Museum’s new virtual lecture series, “Unsilencing the Archives.” This program is hosted by the Badè Museum in partnership with the Palestine Exploration Fund (London, U.K.) and the Archaeological Research Facility (ARF) at UC Berkeley.

The program showcases new research that decolonizes museum archives, with a focus on archival records from excavations carried out in British Mandate Palestine.

Dr. Sarah Irving (Staffordshire University) will present “Guarding Archaeology: Everyday Labour in the British Mandate Department of Antiquities.” Click here to watch live or to catch up on recorded lectures.

Follow the museum on YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram for more information about upcoming public programming.
