Join us at 9:00am Pacific on Thursday, May 12th for the latest installment of the Badè Museum’s new virtual lecture series, “Unsilencing the Archives.” This program is hosted by the Badè Museum in partnership with the Palestine Exploration Fund (London, U.K.) and the Archaeological Research Facility (ARF) at UC Berkeley.

The program showcases new research that decolonizes museum archives, with a focus on archival records from excavations carried out in British Mandate Palestine.

Dr. Kiersten Neumann (Oriental Institute, University of Chicago), former Curator at the Badè Museum, will present “Global, Colonial, Local: Deconstructing Perspectives of Persepolis in the Oriental Institute Museum Archives.” Click here to watch live or to catch up on recorded lectures.
