Join us at 9:00am Pacific on Thursday, May 19th for the latest installment of the Badè Museum’s new virtual lecture series, “Unsilencing the Archives.” This program is hosted by the Badè Museum in partnership with the Palestine Exploration Fund (London, U.K.) and the Archaeological Research Facility (ARF) at UC Berkeley.

The program showcases new research that decolonizes museum archives, with a focus on archival records from excavations carried out in British Mandate Palestine.

Dr. Helen Dixon (East Carolina University) will present “’My trunk was bulging with antiques that I hadn’t been able to get permits for…’ Reexamining Archaeological ‘Souvenirs’ from 1920s Excavations at Carthage” Click here to watch live or to catch up on recorded lectures.
