This course is designed to develop a foundational understanding of Christian worship. It covers the history, theology, and purpose of worship in the life of the church. Students will explore different forms and practices of worship and gain practical skills for planning and leading worship services.
Dr. Lisa Asedillo is an Assistant Professor of Worship and Ethics at the Pacific School of Religion, focusing on decolonial feminist theory, transpacific Christian Ethics, and Philippine Studies. She holds an MDiv from Union Theological Seminary and a PhD from Drew University in Religion and Society.
