“Biblical Interpretation” introduces students to the different methods of interpreting the Bible. Students will learn and practice skills of close reading, asking critical questions of texts, and learn various perspectives that will help us construct interpretations that speak to our contemporary contexts and address issues related to social justice in our communities.

EunHye Grace So is an Assistant Professor of New Testament and Rhetorical Studies at Pacific School of Religion, and a Ph.D. candidate at the Graduate Theological Union (GTU) in Biblical Studies (New Testament). EunHye completed her M.Div. and B.A. in Christian Education at Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary. Her research interest includes Galatians, Classical Rhetoric, Aristotelian ethos, and 4QMMT.

 

 

COURSE DATES

March 9th, 16th & 23rd, 2024, with zoom courses on March 9th and 23rd.

Course times are: 9am – 12noon HST/ 11am – 2pm PST/ 2pm-5pm EST
