“Early Israel and the Philistines: The Materiality of Migrants, Refugees, and Colonizers at the End of the Bronze Age” 

Ann E. Killebrew is a Professor of Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies at the Pennsylvania State University, specializing in the archaeology of the Levant. She has participated in or directed numerous archaeological projects in Israel, Egypt, and Turkey. Ann is currently the co-director of the Tel Akko “Total Archaeology” Project, a major Canaanite and Phoenician maritime center in northern Israel. She has authored or co-edited seven books and has published over 100 articles relating to the archaeology of the Levant.

This lecture series, presented by the Badè Museum of Biblical Archaeology and co-sponsored by the Archaeological Research Facility at UC Berkeley begins September 26, 2024 through May 15, 2025. Watch live on the ARF YouTube Channel or view later on the ARF & Badè YouTube channels.
