In this CLGS Jewish Queeries Series presentation Chris Harrison will discuss facets of his life, including his experience of growing up in – and very slowly opening up – the closet.  Chris will also discuss how he discovered Judaism, navigates his Black/biracial identity, and how his different identities intersect to make him a whole and authentic self.

Chris Harrison (he/him) is a communications professional with experience creating content within and outside of the Jewish nonprofit world.  A Black bisexual Jew by Choice, he is involved with and supports the Reform Jewish Movement, his local Jewish Federation,  and progressive Judaism as a whole.  A two-time “36 Under 36” recipient, Chris lives in the metro Detroit area with his partner and four pets.
