Badè Museum 100th Anniversary Celebrations & Makers Fair
📅 Friday, April 3 | 5:00–7:00 PM
📍 Badè Museum Room, Pacific School of Religion – Holbrook Building
1798 Scenic Ave, Berkeley, CA
Join us for a special Open House & Makers Fair celebrating the centenary of the archaeological excavations at Tell en‑Nasbeh—the project whose discoveries form the heart of the collection at the Badè Museum of Biblical Archaeology.
This gathering marks the very day excavations began at the site in 1926, launching a century of archaeological discovery and scholarship that continues to shape how we understand the ancient world.
To commemorate this historic milestone, the museum will host an evening fair featuring local artisans, craftspeople, and makers. Come explore handcrafted goods, connect with the community, and celebrate both the past and the creative traditions that help us interpret it today.
Enjoy:
• A craft fair featuring ceramics, jewelry, textiles, and other handmade goods by local makers
• Opportunities to sign up for a free behind-the-scenes museum tour
• Raffle prizes and community celebration
• Time to explore the museum and connect with others interested in history, art, and archaeology
