President David Vásquez-Levy is a Panelist at Two Upcoming Events this Week

Rev. Dr. David Vásquez-Levy, President of PSR, will be a panelist at two upcoming events this week.

The first event is hosted by CWS on Friday, September 6 entitled, “Building Bridges in a Polarized Nation: Coming Together to Care for Newcomers.” Even as our world becomes more polarized, our shared values of love, justice and welcome remain unchanged. During this critical time, we must find common ground and live out the values that faith demands. This is an interactive virtual summit focused on encouraging people of faith to remain steadfast during this uncertain time, while building a toolbox to tackle political polarization in your organization.

The second event is hosted by Wake UP Sonoma on Saturday, September 7 entitled, “Project 2025 and the Threat of Christian Nationalism.” This in-person panel, moderated by Rev. Dr. Curran Reichert discusses how Project 2025 and the rise of Christian nationalism affects our lives and our communities.

“As a progressive Christian seminary and graduate school, PSR is firmly committed to serving churches and nonprofit organizations. One way in which we live out this out is by speaking to this critical and timely discussions that impact everyone’s lives,” President Vásquez-Levy said.
