PSR’s ethos of God’s “Big Love” – embodied, inclusive, just, and evolving – plus diverse academic skills, continues to support my evolving authorized (UCC) Christian ministry serving parishes in transition, usually cross-culturally; copacetic and interstitial solidarity with female, queer, AAPI, and indigenous populations (esp. Lisjan-Ohlone); spiritual companionship with clergy, seminarians, and other spiritual companions (SDI); publishing liberating liturgies and sermons (in English and Simple Chinese during COVID); ecclesiastical invitations to question white-rooted power – including my own; and the sheer delight of decades-old friendships with PSR alumnx and former professors. It is a deep honor to be nominated for this award.
