Pacific School of Religion (PSR) is pleased to welcome Tricia Mills as the new Executive Director of Kwaray.
Mills brings more than 25 years of experience building, scaling, and leading mission-driven organizations across technology, education, nonprofit, and public-sectors. She began her career as a software engineer before founding an online education company that she later successfully exited, launching a long trajectory of work at the intersection of innovation, strategy, and social impact.
Throughout her career, Mills has guided both startups and Fortune 500 teams through periods of growth, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational transformation. Her leadership has consistently combined technical expertise with governance, policy development, and strategic partnerships.
As Executive Director, Mills will provide both visionary and operational leadership for Kwaray and PSR Collective, helping advance PSR’s digital platform ecosystem and its broader commitment to collaborative, accessible, and spiritually grounded theological education. In this role, she will oversee platform strategy, partner development, cross-functional teams, and financial sustainability. Her work will ensure that both Kwaray and PSR Collective continue to expand in ways that align with PSR’s mission and values.
In her application, Mills shared that her work is grounded in a deep conviction that mission-driven teams can create greater value for society than profit alone. Her current focus centers on helping startups, nonprofits, and government organizations responsibly harness emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, in ways that prioritize ethics, impact, and the public good.
Her perspective and leadership arrive at a pivotal moment as PSR continues to reimagine theological education for a new generation of learners and institutional partners.
