Happy 60th Anniversary to the Graduate Theological Union!

In 1962 the Graduate Theological Union (GTU) was formed with the vision of collaboration through embracing differences rather than being divided by them. Pacific School of Religion is proud to be one of the earliest members of the GTU, the most comprehensive center for the graduate study of religion in North America. Like PSR, the GTU has been committed to advancing theological engagement on pressing issues like civil rights, gender equality, and climate justice since its founding.

To learn more about the history and legacy of the GTU we highly recommend visiting their newly launched anniversary page where you can watch the GTU’s 60th Anniversary documentary, titled “Together: Building a Better World Since 1962,” which includes PSR President, Dr. David Vásquez-Levy.
