The Facilities and Operations Manager is responsible for managing and directing the facilities support for day-to-day activities of Pacific School of Religion (PSR). Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Administration, this position supports key aspects of the school’s facilities, finance, and general operation’s needs. An integral member of the community, this position is the point person for vendors and coordinating maintenance and space utilization with on-campus tenants. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organization.
Compensation Package:
Salary Range: $75,000.00 To 85,000.00 Annually
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Facilities and operations management
- Manage third-party vendor contracts
- Supervise staff
- Assist with monitoring and managing budgets and expenses
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Facilities and Operations (approximate 100% of effort):
- Manage day to day campus operations
- Coordinate room scheduling and event setup with facilities staff Manage physical plant including capital projects, maintenance, custodial, security, campus safety and grounds functions
- Serve as point-person for on-campus facilities coordination and support with tenants and partners
- Develop standard operating procedures for all facilities and operations functions
- Revise and update campus policies, including safety and emergency response
- Manage facilities personnel and third-party vendors and contracts
- Oversee operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement
- Review and approve transactions for assigned departments
- Collaborate with transitions and onboarding as needed
- Work closely with VP for Finance and Administration to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions are being properly executed in accordance with regulatory-based best practices
- Work with supervisor to develop, monitor, and analyze department budget
- Some on-call and off-hours work required based on events
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Requirement(s):
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and experience
- 2+ years’ supervisory experience
- Experience in facilities management
Certifications & Licenses:
- Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL Class C), in good standing and a clean driving record
