Sacred Snapshots - celebrate the spiritual practices of many traditions
Sacred Snapshots is day-long celebration of the spiritual practices of many traditions where each hour participants can choose to attend experiential workshops featuring diverse spiritual practices, a range of academic lectures, or a worship experience. All workshops are taught by practitioners of different faiths, and lectures are taught by faculty from the Graduate Theological Union. Area religious organizations will lead worship/practice experiences.
In one day, participants can try anything from drumming, to meditation, to Taize, to sacred dance. They can try poetry as a spiritual practice, chant hymns or mantras, walk a labyrinth, learn about 12-step spirituality, experience lectio divina, and get into movement through yoga or tai chi. As Rumi says: "There are a hundred ways to kneel and kiss the ground." Come and find your way.
To be held on PSR campus, 1798 Scenic Ave., Berkekley, CA
Registration starts at 8:30am
