Pilgrimage to Sacred Sites of API Immigration in the Sacramento River Delta

March 28 to March 29, 2008

To honor Cesar Chavez Day weekend, PANA will lead an educational pilgrimage to honor the Asian and Pacific Islander ancestors who worked as immigrant or migrant rural labor in the Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta area. We will journey to remember the rural labor experience, to regain our collective memory, to heal from the pain of transnational migration, to reconnect to history. For more information, contact Rev. Deborah Lee, (510) 849-8260 or dlee(AT)psr.edu.
