GTU Distinguished Faculty Lecture: Rev. Dr. James Noel
Rev Dr James Noel, Chair of African American Christianity and Professor of American Religion at San Francisco Theological Seminary and the Graduate Theological Union
will give a lecture entitled “Black Religion in the Atlantic World during the Age of Revolution: Excavating the ‘Sublime.’”
Dr. Noel will reference several works from the Doug Adams Gallery exhibition Sunday Spirits in his talk, which will take place at the PSR chapel. Dr. Naomi Seidman, Koret Professor of Jewish Culture and Director of the Richard S. Dinner Center for Jewish Studies (GTU), will be the respondent.
A reception will follow in the Doug Adams Gallery.
