PSR alumnus John Sam Jones recently published an autobiography in which he catalogues life as a gay man in North Wales in the 1960s and 1970s. The book includes a detailed account of the "aversion therapy" or shock treatment he was given at a hospital in Wales in attempts to "cure" him of homosexuality. Jones studied the theology of human sexuality at PSR, and received his MDiv in 1984.
