Summer Session 2011 announces Tuesday Night Talks

Once again, PSR Summer session invites the general public to our campus for a series of free lectures and talks given by distinguished members of this year's Summer Session faculty.

The Talks will be held on Tuesday nights during Summer Session. Each talk runs from 7pm to 9pm, preceded by a reception.

 The presenters are as follows:

  • July 12: Mary E. Hunt, PhD, feminist theologian and co-founder of the Women's Alliance for Theology, Ethics and Ritual (WATER)
  • July 19: Rev. Debra Haffner, co-founder of the Religious Institute, certified sexuality educator, and Unitarian Universalist minister.
  • July 26: Rev. Yvette Flunder, senior pastor of City of Refuge UCC in San Francisco, CEO of Ark of Refuge, and PSR alumna.
  • August 2: Dr. Angel F. Méndez Montoya, OP, instructor of theology, philosophy, and cultural theory and Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City
  • August 9: Rosemary Radford Ruether, professor emerita of feminist theology at PSR and author of numerous books, including Goddesses and the Divine Feminine.
