Sign Up for Summer Session Classes

May 21, 2012

Pacific School of Religion is committed to educating progressive spiritual leaders to prepare them for ministries of compassion and justice in a changing world. PSR's mission is rooted in our "tradition of boldness," dedicated to educating both clergy and laity to serve as forces for positive social change and service to the people of God. For more than a hundred years, PSR has been offering courses in the summertime. The current incarnation of this program, Summer Session, is an integral part of our mission: every year we offer courses designed to appeal to ministers in need of continuing professional education, to spiritual seekers interested in deepening their comprehension, and to all who want to be part of "building the beloved community."

We invite you to mark your calendars for Summer Session 2012, which will be held from July 2 to August 10 at our campus in Berkeley, CA (with some courses held entirely online as well). You can look forward to learning from such notable theologians as Bishop John Shelby Spong, Rev. Dr. Donna E. Allen, and Rev. Dorsey Blake, and more—we'll be offering more than twenty courses.

We hope to see you in Summer 2012!
