PSR Professor quoted in Election of New Pope

With the election of a new Pope, local media, the media was quick to reach out to Bernard Schlager, CLGS Executive Director; Associate Professor of Historical and Cultural Studies for insight regarding the impact this might have for the religious lives of the local LGBT community.

From KQED: "He supports the church teaching on human sexuality," said Bernard Schlager, a Catholic who teaches at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, and is Executive Director of the Center for Lesbian & Gay Studies in Religion and Ministry.
