Bishop Yvette Flunder will be speaking at the fourth annual Amplify 2012 conference in Hong Kong and will be joined by Bishop Gene Robinson of the diocese of New Hampshire for the Episcopal Church and many other clergy. The conference will be held June 22-24.

Rev. Dr. Flunder is the Founding Senior Pastor of City of Refuge, UCC San Francisco (www.sfrefuge.org) and Presiding Bishop of The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries (www.radicallyinclusive.com). She also teaches various classes at PSR including her ever popular 'Refuge in the City' intersession class which taught the first two weeks of January each year.

This year's conference theme is Transcending Boundaries - Restoring Hope. The conference is defined as a place where "leading international voices of faith will share their struggles and achievements in developing open and affirming ministries in many countries. Together, they will discuss and learn from one another to understand the call to radical inclusivity – a message of liberation that invites everyone regardless of gender, race, creed, ethnicity, sexual or affectional orientation to explore in full assurance of faith in a God whose love is great enough to hold all."
