Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church
Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church is a historic congregation seated in the heart of West Oakland. The first African American United Methodist Church in the California-Nevada Annual Conference, it has been instrumental in founding several other historically African American United Methodist Churches in this region. Approximately 125 persons attend worship each Sunday.
There are opportunities for learning and sharing in the areas of worship leadership, preaching, pastoral visitation, leading ministries to youth, young adults, and seniors, church administration, and community outreach. The supervising pastor will be Rev. Andrea Davidson.
