Marin General Hospital

Marin General Hospital is a community hospital with an average patient census of 115-120. MGH is the trauma center for Marin County. Chaplain residents serve all units in the hospital, providing spiritual and emotional support to persons of many different faith traditions, and no faith tradition. Spiritual Care Services are available to patients & their families and hospital staff 24/7. Chaplain residents provide on-call coverage--at least one evening per week and one weekend per month. Mandatory staff meetings are held on Tuesday from 11-1, and provide opportunities for learning and support. Due to the on-call schedule, the position requires that the chaplain resident must live in Marin County. The hospital does not provide a sleep room.

Monthly Stipend: Position is per diem, non-benefitted; 15 hours/week + on call
