Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists
BFUU is a dynamic Unitarian Universalist congregation that plays an important role as a progressive spiritual community in the heart of Berkeley. The Fellowship enriches the life of the surrounding community as a much-used and much-loved venue for social justice and cultural programs.
We are committed to welcoming all people, regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, economic status, age, or religious belief. We have a history of welcoming people from all walks of life, and many have found here friendship, community and a spiritual home.
Various possibilities exist for Field Education:
1. Pastoral work to Elders and Caring Community
2. Religious Ed/Social Justice work via "Tuesdays Together" program
3. Worship & Arts (regular participation in worship life)
4. Member/Volunteer Coordination (e.g., "Faith development")
5. Others as suit student and congregational needs, mutually
Stipend: Approx. $15/hr
Car Required?: Depends on scope of Field Ed work
