Lynn Nell Rhodes

Associate Professor of Ministry and Field Education

Academic Credentials:
BA, University of California Berkeley, 1965; MDiv, Union Theological Seminary, New York, 1968; ThD, Boston University School of Theology, 1983.
Quote:
“My teaching is informed by my commitment to engage myself and students in critical theological reflection upon the practices of ministry. This requires methodologies that pay particular attention to social/political/economic con- texts. I believe that Christian vocation is the call of God to practice solidarity in hope and celebration, to struggle against injustice and to attend to human suffering. In order to do that, we need to engage our minds in analyzing the complex realities of our world and honestly explore our own gifts and limitations.”
