PSR does not grant the ThD or PhD degrees, yet the school does participate in these programs administered by the Graduate Theological Union. For more information, see GTU.
Graduate Certificate Programs
For those beginning to explore theological studies and vocational goals. Flexible Learning option available.
A professional development certificate providing specialized leadership training in the theological, historical, ethical, pastoral, and practical dimensions of sexuality, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Flexible Learning option available.
A professional development certificate providing an opportunity for those who are already engaged in social change as well as those eager to embark on this vocational path to combine spiritual formation and theological reflection in a cohort of changemakers, leadership skills for critically constructive social analysis, and immersive learning and practice with experienced mentors. Flexible Learning option available.
A program for specialty concentration in Swedenborgian thought for both ordination-track Swedenborgian students and others interested in spirituality studies from a Swedenborgian perspective. Flexible Learning option available.

Other Certificate Programs
Study online or in your local community with TEL, a theological education program for lay leaders and clergy (not for graduate credit). Taught entirely online or in hybrid format through Flexible Learning options.
PSR students currently enrolled in a graduate degree or certificate program can enroll in a number of GTU certificates as part of their program at no additional cost. Certificates are offered in the following areas: Islamic Studies, Jewish Studies, Orthodox Christian Studies, Black Church/Africana Religious Studies, Asian and Oceanic Cultures and Faith Traditions, Women’s Studies in Religion.
Flexible Learning encompasses online, blended, hybrid, evening, and weekend courses available throughout the year, and summer or January term intensive courses. Individual courses are available to all students in all programs, including special students enrolling in a single course.
