Welcome to Pacific School of Religion and a new phase of your academic and spiritual journey! As Director of Community Life and Spiritual Care, I am pleased to assist you in your transition to PSR.

So that you will take full advantage of your experience in Berkeley we have compiled a guide to compliment the many other resources that exist about this and the surrounding communities.

The information presented in the arrival guide is a compilation of the most frequently-asked questions that new students have when they first arrive at the Pacific School of Religion, including the Orientation Schedule. Internet links are conveniently included as a reference for each section.

When you arrive on campus, we will also provide you with a comprehensive Orientation program that will prepare you for a successful study at the Pacific School of Religion. Orientation is a requirement.

New Student Academics Orientation Online

For students who are starting PSR online or who cannot make Orientation (in-person is strongly recommended), a brief summary of what you need to know just to get you through the first month of the semester is posted in these series of instructional videos. Please make sure you view all of them if you miss parts of Orientation or are a distance or online student.

These videos are not a substitution for reading both Parts I & Parts II of your program manual, but they may assist you in getting you started as efficiently as possible as a PSR student.
