Bishop Yvette Flunder preaches at the closing worship: "Justice at the Table"

A native San Franciscan, Bishop Yvette Flunder is a third generation preacher with roots in the Church of God in Christ. Bishop Flunder is also an ordained Minister of the United Church of Christ and is Founder and Senior Pastor of City of Refuge United Church of Christ in San Francisco. In June 2003 Bishop Flunder was consecrated Presiding Bishop of The Fellowship, a multi-denominational fellowship of 110 primarily African American Christian leaders and laity representing 56 churches and faith-based organizations from all parts of the United States Mexico and Africa.

Shaykh Hamza Yusuf is "the most influential Islamic scholar in the West" and the 38th most influential Muslim scholar worldwide, according to Georgetown University's study The 500 Most Influential Muslims (2009). Hamza Yusuf is a cofounder of Zaytuna College, located in Berkeley, California. He is an advisor to Stanford University's Program in Islamic Studies and the Center for Islamic Studies at Berkeley's Graduate Theological Union.
