Pacific School of Religion

Rev. Dr. Andrea Bieler, Professor of Christian Worship was this year's commencement speaker. She was Professor of Christian Worship at Pacific School of Religion, and a Core Doctoral Faculty Member of the Graduate Theological Union. She has recently taken a teaching position in Germany. An ordained minister of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hannover, Germany, she has authored & edited nine books. Her writings include: After Violence: Religion, Trauma, and Reconciliation (2011), Embodying Grace: Proclaiming Justification in the Real World (2010), The Eucharist: Bodies, Bread, and Resurrection (2007), and Worship in Intercultural Perspective: Encounters in the In-Between Space (in German, 2007).
